Unusual, hand carved, veneered, inlaid and ebonized, four drawer, serpentine front commode with clipped corners bolstered by turned pilasters capped with Corinthian capitals. The whole in Burl veneer with foliate style, pear wood inlay. Original, gilt bronze drawer pulls on 3 lower drawers, replacement antique knobs on top drawer. Private collection, Genoa, Italy.
