18th Century Italian Baroque Hand Carved Gilt Wood Solomonic Column Pedestal with Grape Vines.

The capital has a combination of Corinthian and Ionic design elements.

Spots of wear and loss to the finish and some cracks in the wood commensurate with age (6).
There are age separations at the vertical seams of the capitals where they were attached to the main column (10). One capital corner also has a horizontal separation where it meets the top platform (11).
