A beautiful Rococo Louis VI king size headboard by Karges Furniture. Masterfully carved giltwood with an armorial crest main focus, the red Italian clay bole ground behind the gold leaf. Karges typically made its furniture in Indiana but it is very likely this was made in Italy for Karges.
