19th Century Sarreguemines Pots in Golden Geometry in the style of Blues of Longwy, Set of 2

Rare and exceptional pair of ceramic pots in the very deemed earthenware of Sarreguemines.
It is a magnificent work very close to the Blues of Longwy, with golden geometric sets on a chic and deep navy blue background.

The wonderful floral motif shows magnificent Vrilles and flowers painted by gold in color.
In combination with the dark cobalt blue color on the outside, a magnificent sky blue color inside, presenting a nice contrast gives this pair of jar cache an incomparable elegance.

Paul Utzschneider and Paul de Geiger, true men-orchestras, propelled the small town to the very first row of earthenware industry.
from the 19th century, Sarreguemines offered a large collection of earthenware, vases, potspews, wall frescoes, chimneys …

Today, Sarreguemines’ earthenware factory is no longer. Nevertheless, some of its flagship collections are still produced by various factories in France.

For example, the earthenware of Lunéville-St-Clement now produces the “Obernai” collection.
