This piece is dyed by hand using natural and repurposed yarns and techniques such as Ikat and dip-dyeing. Plant dyes used are indigo and logwood making this an environmentally-friendly piece.
Handwoven on a dobby loom in Pamela’s studio using a complex double cloth weaving technique and a combination of weave structures, this unique framed artwork draws inspiration from the ethos and aesthetic of Indian Kantha & Japanese Boro textiles.
One of a kind. A bespoke option is available in colours / size of the client’s choice and can be woven using hand-dyed plant dyes. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
