“Another way to build a table with a central element that consolidates the tabletop and shims that apply vertical force. The two V-shaped trestles are the most minimalist forms possible, self-supporting. For this table, I used the best-preserved boards from my wood reserve: those with the least amount of twist so that they can be used lengthwise and still retain considerable thickness after planing.” – Dirk Meylaerts
