Couple Of Parrots In Chinese Porcelain Qing Nineteenth Period”
Pair of parakeets resting on a rock. Bluish turquoise hard porcelain, beautiful shine, slightly darker head and beak. The body of the birds is covered with a transparent glassure, however the rock is perforated and glazed. I don’t know of any other copy listed so it is difficult to date them with certainty. Probably Chinese work from the Qing period.
