Rena Dumas (1937-2009) was a French architect and designer. Together with Peter Coles, she designed the Pippa collection in 1987, which started with a folding desk, stool and lounger. Further objects followed in 1993, such as the armchair, paravent, stool with tray and the 3-seater bench.
The 3-seater folding bench is made of pear wood, cowhide and brass fittings.
Over the decades, the Pippa collection has become a true classic by Hermès. The 3-seater bench has been discontinued and is still not available on the official website.
