This sideboard is a mix between painting and furniture art.
The piece of furniture represents a painting of a Dutch coastal landscape at sunset.
Every detail of the landscape is crafted by hand from solid wood to form a three-dimensional image.
The sideboard contains four drawers, each of which is hidden behind the coast, sea and sky.
The user can press at any point on the painting to open a drawer.
The painting is surrounded by moldings of authentic pear wood.
And the sideboard is made in the Rococo style.
No less than fourteen different types of wood have been processed in the furniture.
This piece is made by Walter Noest. He is a designer presenting his work with Sordile
